After being peppered with HR questions from his (more) successful entrepreneur friends on golf courses, in the bleachers, or sitting on flights, Joe Rafferty had an "Aha!" moment – smaller businesses needed practical, more strategic HR guidance.
So, Invenio HR was born – not in big corporate boardrooms but on golf greens, at AAU basketball tournaments, and in airport Starbucks.

Joe Rafferty is an accomplished professional with 20+ years of experience in strategic human resources, executive recruiting and talent operations across diverse industries.
As the Executive Recruiting Director at Hologic, a leading medical device maker, he pioneered hiring strategies that saved millions while significantly increasing C-suite retention. His tenure at Santander Bank as the Senior HR Business Partner allowed him to influence sales productivity and leadership retention positively. Joe’s career path also includes roles at Reebok (Adidas Group), Deloitte Consulting, and Pivotal Search, Inc. A renowned talent specialist, Joe boasts an impressive circle of Fortune 500 clients from his days as a Senior Consultant at Accountants International.
An alumnus from the university of Massachusetts, Joe has a senior professional in human resources certification (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certificate Institute (HRCI), as well as a senior certified professional (SHRM-SCP) from the society of human resource management (SHRM).
Joe received an honorary but legally binding “World’s Best Dad” coffee mug in 2019.
A proud native of Worcester, Massachusetts where he still splits his time, Joe lives in greater Houston with his wife and three children.
